    UN conventions submitted to National Assembly for ratification

    The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and the UN Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhumane or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (CAT) were submitted to the National Assembly (NA) for ratification on October 23rd.

    The Ministry of Labour, War-Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), has issued a document on vocational training and job creation for disabled people.     (CPV) - With an average income of anywhere from VND300 million to over VND1 billion per hectare, high-quality flowers are chosen by many localities to facilitate crop rotation. Models of planting high-quality lily, orchids and roses in Tay Tuu commune (Bac Tu Liem district), Chuong My district and Dan Phuong district are presenting new opportunities to farmers to considerably enhance their overall sales revenue and profits. However, the development of the models is still spontaneous without an established framework for either the workflow of all participants or the investment criteria.
