Germany grants 12 million Euros for forest protection in the Central Provinces

According to the Quang Nam people’s committee, the German Government announced that it will grant 12 million Euros of which 79% is non-refundable to the Central provinces of Vietnam to restore, manage and protect forests.
The project aims to restore and sustainably manage about 23,000 ha of forest in the provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and areas of threatened natural resources.
10,000 ha of cultivated forest will be managed by 15,000 farmers.
Thanks to the project, the lives of people in these provinces as well as the quality of natural resources will be improved.
