(CPV) – An international seminar about Hanoi capital in the past and present will be held in October by the Vietnam Urban Planning and Development Association in coordination with the Center for Globalization Studies of Hawaii University.
Participants at the seminar will discuss urban centers in Vietnam, historical preservation, communal space, urban design with the participation of community, changes in the outskirts of cities, climate change and sustainable development, settlement and changes in urban architecture, and city in the future as subjects.
As scheduled, the seminar will be held on October 12th and 13th 2010 to mark the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi.
The seminar is expected to draw the participation of lovers of Hanoi, scholars, policy markers, architects, as well as non-governmental organizations to glorify the great achievements of urban life in Hanoi.
