Recently, the image of the national flag, traditional long dress and Ho Chi Minh City’s Ben Thanh Market in a video clip on Channel V, a popular music channel, is causing tumult among young Vietnamese people.

"It's great to see the symbols of the country on an international television channel," said Nguyen Thi Ha, a student from Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture.

The video clips are part of the song “Stronger” by 2002 American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson. The video is almost four minutes, and shows the spirit of optimism, the strong rise and "recovery after ending a bad relationship" according to a British music critic.

The video shot in Ho Chi Minh City includes images of a group of young Vietnamese people dancing. In the center of the group is a girl in a T-shirt with red flag and yellow star, beside a girl in a traditional long dress.

The background of the video shot in Vietnam is Ben Thanh Market, one of the symbols of Ho Chi Minh City.
