    Lao press cover PM Thongsing Thammavong’s Vietnam visit

    The major newspapers of Laos on February 27 published news and photos covering the visit to Vietnam of Lao Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong and the senior delegation of the Lao government from February 23 -26, at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

    The People Newspaper and the Lao News Agency (KPL) published photos and detailed articles about the activities of PM Thongsing Thammavong and the Lao government senior delegation in Vietnam.

    The visit was respectfully and warmly welcomed and received by PM Nguyen Tan Dung, Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the leaders of the Party and State, and people in localities in Vietnam.

    The Lao PM and senior government delegation acknowledged the achievements that the Party and people of Vietnam have gained, taking the country steadily and strictly toward the socialism.

    The Lao newspapers noted that the visit of PM Thongsing Thammavong to Vietnam in this “Year of Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship" opens up new prospects for the cooperation and investment of Vietnamese businesses in Laos./.
