    VN’s U19 football team head for Palestinian

    The Vietnamese Football Federation (VFF) has announced that the national Under 19 team will take part in the Al Nakba International Tournament in Palestine from May 14-22.

    The team will gather for pre-match training on April 22 before heading off for the tournament.

    Nine teams will take part in the tournament, including Vietnam , Indonesia , Iraq , Jordan , Mauritania , Pakistan , Sri Lanka , Tunisia and Uzbekistan .

    They will compete in three groups and the three winners from each group plus the best runner-up will enter the semifinals.

    The Palestinian organisers have invited almost 600 international sports journalists and commentators to the event, including several from Vietnam./.
