(CPV) – An alpine coaster system with total length of 1,760 meters, the longest alpine coaster in Southeast Asia, was launched by Vinpearl Land in Nha Trang in late April.

The system was designed and installed by Germany’s Wiegand Company. The difference of the height between the two stations of the alpine coaster is 133 meters, the highest in Southeast Asia.

With a total of 50 vehicles, tourists joining this game will be picked up at a station at the foot of the mountain and will be lifted along a straight track of 540 meters to another station on the mountain top, which is 140 meters above sea level. From this height, visitors can take a walk and enjoy the view of Nha Trang Bay and beautiful Nha Trang city. On the way down, visitors will be thrilled by sliding along a 1,220 meter-long curling rail.

This is a popular entertainment around the world. On this ride, visitors will slide in a double vehicle with a brake to keep a safe distance between vehicles on the rail. Especially, the Vinpearl Alpine Coaster is suitable for people of all ages.

In addition to the Alpine Coaster system, Vinpearl Land has also installed other new thrill games like bungee jumping. Supermarkets and the legend garden for children have also upgraded and supplemented games, and a flying motorbike show will liven up the summer holidays. A new orchid garden and food stalls will also be set up.

For many years, Vinpearl Land has been well-known as the largest and most attractive amusement park in Vietnam. Each year, Vinpearl Land welcomes almost one million visitors./.
