    Hanoi considers placing Km0 post at Hoan Kiem Lake

    Chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee Nguyen The Thao has assigned Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourim and the Hanoi Department of Architecture Planning to consider a proposal by Assoc.Prof. Ha Dinh Duc to place a Km0 marker at Hoan Kiem Lake.

    Placing such a marker at Hoan Kiem Lake has been discussed for many years. According to Assoc.Prof. Ha Dinh Duc, this is a significant work. Many countries in the world have placed the similar markers. Moreover, the placing of a Km0 post at Hoan Kiem Lake will create an impression on tourists to Hanoi.

    Assoc.Prof. Ha Dinh Duc proposed to place the marker at the corner of Hoan Kiem Lake opposite the Trang Tien Commercial Centre./.
